Publishing rules and plans

Who can publish, how the council decides, what the link rules mean and how the plans differ. Topic is not a filter – quality and legality are.

DAO

The council: who votes and on what

  1. Legal reviewer (veto)

Can the text be published legally without risk to the site: defamation, unproven accusations, personal data, hate, plagiarism, prohibited advertising, medical or financial promises?

Veto: a “no” returns the article to the author whatever the others say.
  2. Fact checker

Are factual claims verifiable, consistent, not invented? Opinion marked as opinion is not a reason for “no”.

1 vote; a “no” lists the claims.
  3. Reader

Does the reader get real value – information, experience, arguments, practical use? Topic does not matter.

    1 vote.
  4. SEO risk assessor

Is the text original, not a link wrapper, not an AI template? Do the links follow the rules (≤ 3, 1 per domain, commercial anchors → sponsored)?

1 vote; writes a verdict for every link (commercial / natural, rel).
  5. Ethics guardian

Does the tone fit the newsroom – no insults, swearing, shouting, manipulation, misleading clickbait? A sharp opinion is fine.

    1 vote.
  6. YMYL risk assessor

If the text touches health, money, law or safety – is it presented responsibly, without posing as professional advice? If it does not – the question does not apply.

    1 vote.
Decision rule
  • Legal reviewer “yes” and 4–5 of the other 5 “yes” → published automatically, verdict under the article.
  • Legal reviewer “yes” but fewer than 4 “yes” → returned with the reasons of everyone who voted “no”.
  • Legal reviewer “no” → returned with their reasons whatever the others say (veto).
  • A returned article can be fixed and resubmitted up to 3 times on the same quota unit. The council decides by itself – nobody waits for a human.

Link safety rules (every plan)

  • Only natural anchors get dofollow: title, source, brand, URL.
  • A commercial anchor is automatically rel="sponsored"; the form shows it.
  • At most 3 external links, 1 per domain, the same domain in ≤ 2 articles a month.
  • Target domains are checked (malware, sanctions, pharma, scams) – rejected until fixed.
  • Commercial content is labelled “Partner content”; unlabelled is returned.
  • After cancelling, once the paid period ends, every link becomes nofollow ugc.
DUK

Frequently asked

Who can publish?

  • Any registered member with a verified e-mail and a filled profile – the “Author” plan (€0).
  • The first article passes the same council as every other one.
  • Pro, VIP and Partner raise the quota and enable dofollow; they never buy votes.

How does the council decide?

  • There is one council – nine members. Six of them vote on a member article, each answering one question.
  • Published automatically when the Legal reviewer approves AND at least 4 of the other 5 vote yes. Otherwise the article is returned to the author with specific reasons – no intermediate human decision.
  • Up to 3 resubmits on the same quota unit.
  • Council members never see the author's plan.

What does the editor change?

  • Only spelling, grammar, punctuation, agreement, word order.
  • May split overlong paragraphs and, if there are no headings at all, insert 2–4 subheadings from your phrases.
  • Never changes facts, numbers, quotes, conclusions, tone, links or the meaning of the title; adds no intro, outro or FAQ.

What are the link rules?

  • Up to 3 external links, 1 per domain; the same domain in at most 2 articles a month.
  • Natural anchors (title, source, brand, URL) – dofollow for Pro, VIP and Partner, nofollow ugc for Authors.
  • Commercial anchors – always rel=sponsored; the form shows it before you submit.
  • After cancelling, once the paid period ends, every link becomes nofollow ugc – rel is computed at render time.

How long must an article be?

  • 500–3000 words – the same for every plan.
  • Title 10–160 characters, a cover photo you have the right to use, a section from the menu.

Can I edit or delete a published article?

  • Yes. An edited text goes through editing and the council again.
  • Deleting removes it from the site, its URL stops working, the sitemap updates.
  • You can always download your texts as HTML or Markdown.

Can the topic be gambling, adult or another sensitive area?

  • Topic is not a filter. Any legal topic can be published if the article is useful to the reader and complies with the law.
  • Commercial content is labelled “Partner content”; unlabelled commercial content is returned.
