Terms of use

Anyone may read the Site. To create an account you must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. The information you give when registering must be accurate.

An account is needed to ask questions, report problems and publish guides. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for what happens under your account; tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud or harms the Site or its readers. Payments are not refunded when an account is closed for such a reason.

You keep the rights to what you write. By sending it you allow us, worldwide and free of charge, to publish, edit for clarity and length, translate and display it on the Site for as long as it stays on the Site.

Member guides are read by an editor before publication and may be returned for changes or refused. The rules for member guides (length, links, what is not accepted) are in the publishing rules, which are part of these terms.

Questions and reports are read by an editor. We try to answer, but we cannot promise an answer to every message or by a certain time.

Votes must reflect your own experience. Manipulating votes, for example with several accounts or by trading votes, is not allowed.

Paid plans (Pro, VIP and Partner) are described on the membership page, with their price and what they include. They are sold by 3T Media FZE through mr.lt, the payment platform run by 3T Media FZE; card payments are processed by Stripe.

A membership is a digital service. All payments are final and non-refundable.

Memberships are billed monthly and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time on your account's membership page: cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan, including followed links, stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

While a paid membership is active, non-commercial links in your published guides are not marked nofollow. When it ends they are marked nofollow again automatically. Commercial and affiliate links are always marked "sponsored". A paid plan does not guarantee that a guide will be published.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A new price applies from the first renewal after that date unless you cancel before it.

You must not use the Site to:

• post content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, threatening or that invades someone's privacy;
• infringe copyright or other rights, or post content you are not allowed to share;
• spread malware or links to harmful downloads;
• send spam, run phishing or other deceptive schemes, or create accounts or votes automatically;
• copy the Site's content in bulk by scraping, other than normal search engine indexing;
• try to get unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or its database, or work around its security.

The Site's editorial content, design and code belong to us or our licensors. You may read and share links to it; you may not republish it without our written permission. "uGetFix" and its logo are our trademarks.

The Site links to other websites and shows data from other providers (status feeds, Microsoft, NVIDIA, the vendors' release data, Epic Games, Steam). We are not responsible for their content or availability. Some links are advertising; see the affiliate disclosure.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We try hard to be accurate, but we do not guarantee that a guide will solve your problem or work on your hardware and software, that live data is complete or up to the minute, or that the Site is always available. Following a guide is at your own risk: back up your data before you change system settings.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the membership fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim or EUR 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

You agree to compensate us for claims and costs caused by content you post or by your breach of these terms or of the law.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, write to we@3towers.ae with the subject "Copyright notice". Name the work, the address of the page on the Site, your contact details, and confirm that you own the rights or act for the owner and that the use is not authorised. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are settled by the courts of Fujairah.

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes we tell registered members by e-mail at least 14 days before they apply. If you do not agree, stop using the Site and ask us to delete your account.
